BASIC KEELBOAT

Join the ranks of Christopher Columbus and Ted Turner as you learn the basics of Sailing with this fun and challenging class! This 3 day class will take you from a beginner to a certified sailor capable of handling up to a 26 ft. sailboat in moderate conditions. You will learn everything from sailing terms to sailing theory including Nomenclature, Points of Sail, Rules of the Road, Docking and some really useful knots!

Included in the class are the following;

1. Sailing Fundamentals text book written by Gary Jobson.
2. ASA official Log Book to keep a record of certification and sailing.
3. Free sail boat rental following completion of class.
4. Certification Award suitable for framing.
5. Admittance in one of our sailing clubs designed to "keep you sailing".

*This class also provides completion of a Safe Boating Course.
